Introduction To Chemistry

Chemistry  is the science concerned with the composition, structure, and properties of matter with the changes it goes through during chemical reaction.

The 8 fields of chemistry are Organic, Inorganic, Physical, Biochemistry, Analytical, Theoretical, Materials and Nuclear.

Waves

Wavelength - The distance between repeating points on a wave form of a given frequency.

Wave Frequency - The number of waves to pass a point in a unit of time. 

Wave Height  - The vertical distance between the crest and the preceding trough of a wave.

Waves

Transverse Waves - A moving wave that consists of oscillations occurring perpendicular to the direction of energy transfer. An example is radio waves.

Compressional Waves -  A wave propagated by means of the compression of a fluid, as a sound wave in air is. An example is sound waves.

Gravity

I learned that gravity goes wherever the more mass is at.

Energy Transfer

Conduction is the transfer of energy through matter from particle to particle. An example for Conduction is touching a stove, and being burned.

Convection is the transfer of heat by the actual movement of the warmed matter. An example of Convection is hot air rising, and cool air falling. 

Radiation is electromagnetic waves that directly transport energy through space. An  example of Radiation is heat from the sun, warming your face.
