Waves
Transverse Waves -
A moving wave that consists of oscillations occurring perpendicular to the direction of energy transfer. An example is radio waves.
Compressional Waves -
A wave propagated by means of the compression of a fluid, as a sound wave in air is. An example is sound waves.
